A Glance at Wampolet "Fire-safety Month" Activities

Jiangsu Zhenjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, November 28, 2024 — Wampolet "Fire-safety Month" activities have been successfully completed.

In today's fiercely competitive business environment, safety and sustainability management is not only the base of corporate operations but also the key to its sustainable development. It is not only related to the health and safety of employees but also an important reflection of a company's fulfillment of social responsibility. Wampolet has always placed safety and sustainability at the core of its corporate strategy, striving to create a working atmosphere of safe production and green environment, and encouraging every employee to join actively.

To further enhance employees' emergency response capabilities and safety awareness, Wampolet EHS team organized a series of activities during the "119 Fire Safety Publicity Month," including fire safety knowledge training, simulated emergency evacuation drills, fire safety knowledge competitions, and safety situation analysis meeting.

As the alarm bells suddenly rang throughout the Wampolet plants at 8:10 AM, November 22, all employees immediately stopped their work, turned off power switches, covered their mouths and noses, and quickly evacuated through safety exits to the designated assembly zone. Thanks to the thorough preparation before the drill and the guidance of on-site staff, the entire evacuation process was fast and orderly. In just about 10 minutes, all employees had assembled at the company's main entrance, with first aid kits and medical supporting team in place. This drill not only provide a chance for new employees to familiar with the safety evacuation routes and emergency assembly zone but also allowed experienced employees to further master the evacuation process, improving escape efficiency and the ability to assist others.

To spread fire safety knowledge and stimulate employees' enthusiasm for learning, Wamplolet EHS team held a fire safety knowledge competition in the afternoon of November 28. Participants were divided into 6 teams and competed fiercely on topics focusing fire safety regulations, fire prevention, and fire escape knowledge. The competition on stage was tense and exciting, and the audience was enthusiastic. In the end, 3 teams stood out with excellent performance and won awards. After the event, employees gathered in small groups to share their insights and reminisce about the competition, leaving the venue with a sense of joy.

As the year draws to a close, a safety situation analysis meeting was convened to summarize the company's safety management and to pave the way for the new phase of safety work. During the meeting, the EHS team proposed rectification and prevention suggestions for existing and potential safety risks, announced the focus of winter safety work, and commended the outstanding teams in the safety optimization project competition. Various departments, including operation, QA, and warehouse, conducted in-depth analyses of their respective issues and clarified the direction for future safety work improvements.

Although November is about to pass, Wampolet’s journey in safety and sustainability will continue. We will adhere to the policy of "safety first, prevention as the core, and comprehensive management" providing solid support for the health and sustainable development of the enterprise.
